Phoenix Contact has launched a new XTV terminal block series, which adopts the new Push-X connection technology. Compared to existing direct insertion connection technologies, Push-X supports direct connection of various types of wires.

Easy and effortless insertion without the need for tools, making the operation very convenient. The wiring area is already open when the terminal leaves the factory, thus achieving the above operation. By tapping the inserted wire, the thin diameter flexible wire can trigger the pre pressed contact spring, automatically completing the safe wiring. This can shorten installation time and speed up wiring. Like direct insertion technology, the wires are also released through an orange pull button. This operation will open the wiring area and simultaneously tighten the contact spring.

The pull button clearly indicates the wiring position and is not limited by the diameter of the wire or the direction of the wiring terminal. The basic configuration of the XTV product series consists of three wiring capacities, namely 6, 10, and 16 mm ². The straight through and multi wire terminal blocks have diverse functions and are suitable for various control cabinet applications and on-site use. Push-X connection technology has also undergone rigorous testing and can be used in industries that require high vibration, airtightness, and durability. With the dual channel bridging well, the XTV terminal block can freely bridge the terminal blocks and accessories of the CLIPLINE complete terminal block system.
